- This standard specifies the hygienic requirements for polyvinyl chloride bottle cap gaskets and pellets used in food packaging. This standard applies to polyvinyl chloride bottle cap gaskets (gaskets) (hereinafter referred to as gaskets) processed with polyvinyl chloride resin for food packaging as the main raw material and added plasticizers, fillers, foaming agents and other additives. Gaskets that can be used for soda, beer, rice wine, distilled wine bottle caps and jams (not in contact with oily foods); this standard is also applicable to the pellets used to produce the gaskets.
