Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods for strontium-89 (⁸⁹Sr) and strontium-90 (⁹⁰Sr) in various foods. This standard is applicable to the determination of ⁸⁹Sr and ⁹⁰Sr in various foods. ⁹⁰ Sr deduction method and aluminum flake absorption method for ⁸⁹ Sr detection limits are 2.3×10^-2 and 4.2×10^-2Bq/g ash, Sr is 1.6×10^-2Bq/g ash.
