- This standard specifies the surface defects, materials and other general technical requirements for piston rings of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200 mm. This standard applies to piston rings of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200 mm. Compressor piston rings working under similar conditions can also be used as a reference.
