Scope

This standard specifies the shape, bonding agent, concentration, size code and product marking of superhard abrasive tools and saws. This standard applies to synthetic diamond or cubic boron nitride grinding wheels, oilstones, grinding heads and saws. This standard does not apply to ordinary abrasive tools.
