- Scope
- This standard specifies the nomenclature of gas cylinder models for use by relevant departments such as gas cylinder design, manufacture, use and management. This standard is applicable to those used at normal ambient temperature (-40~60℃), with a nominal working pressure of 1.0~30MPa (gauge pressure, the same below), a nominal volume of 0.4~1000L, and permanent gas, liquefied gas or dissolved gas. Gas cylinders are also suitable for gas cylinders containing adsorbed gases. This standard does not apply to gas cylinders for fire extinguishing, gas cylinders made of non-metallic materials, and cylinder-type pressure vessels attached to transportation vehicles and machinery and equipment.
