- This method is applicable to the determination of the brittleness temperature of vulcanized rubber on a single-sample brittleness testing machine. The brittleness temperature measured by this method is the characteristic temperature of vulcanized rubber, and does not represent the lower limit of the working temperature of vulcanized rubber and its products. The brittle temperature can be used to compare the low-temperature performance of different rubber materials or vulcanized rubbers with different formulations. Therefore, it has certain practical value in scientific research, quality inspection of rubber materials and their products, production process control, etc.
