Scope: This standard specifies the types, dimension series and tolerances of square and stepped coaxial seals for hydraulic cylinder pistons and piston rod dynamic seals. This standard applies to the sealing of pistons and piston rods (plungers) of reciprocating hydraulic cylinders with hydraulic oil as the working medium, pressure ≤ 40MPa, speed ≤ 5m/s, and temperature range of -40 to +200°C. This standard applies to coaxial seals with O-shaped rubber seal rings as elastomers, and also to coaxial seals with other cross-sectional types of rubber or rubber-plastic seal rings as elastomers.
