- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types, basic parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of permanent magnet DC motors for electric wheelchairs, as well as nameplates, packaging, storage, transportation and quality commitments. This standard applies to permanent magnet DC motors (hereinafter referred to as motors) for electric wheelchairs. This standard does not include brushless DC motors and direct drive motors.
