- This standard describes the testing principles, test conditions, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, data processing and refractive index calculation, calculation accuracy and test reports for the refractive index of infrared chalcogenide optical films (hereinafter referred to as "films"). This standard is applicable to the test of the refractive index of infrared chalcogenide optical films. The test of the refractive index of other optical films can be used as a reference.
