- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality commitment requirements for embedded microwave ovens (hereinafter referred to as microwave ovens). This standard applies to household electronic microwave ovens with single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250 V and rated current not exceeding 16 A. This standard does not apply to commercial microwave ovens, industrial microwave heating equipment, medical appliances, and appliances intended to be used in special places, such as places with corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam or gas). This standard does not apply to microwave ovens with steam function and convection heating function.
