- This standard provides guidance on the general principles for self-monitoring of wastewater from thallium-related pollutant discharge units, the formulation of monitoring plans, and the basic contents of information recording and reporting. This standard is suitable for use in the production process of industries such as metal product manufacturing, non-ferrous metal smelting, non-ferrous metal ore mining, sewage treatment and recycling, thermal power generation, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing, basic chemical raw material manufacturing, and comprehensive utilization of waste resources. Or enterprises that produce thallium-containing pollutants and thallium-related enterprises determined by the local Ecological Environment Bureau based on management needs to conduct self-monitoring of thallium pollutants in wastewater generated during the production and operation stage.
