This part of GB/T 37306 specifies the cycle counting and data subtraction methods that should be applied to variable amplitude fatigue tests. For each trial or trial series, the cycle count is binding and various methods of data reduction are optional. This part supports ISO12110-1, which includes general principles, test methods and reporting requirements for variable amplitude epidemic labor testing. This section applies to all load types. The term load refers to force, stress or strain. The following items are not considered within the scope of this part:
——constant amplitude fatigue tests in which isolated overload or underload phenomena occur;
——tests on components or structural parts;
——environmental effects, such as corrosion, temperature and time Related creep causes frequency and waveform effects;
——Multi-axial loading. Note 1: When conducting multiaxial tests with constant amplitude or variable amplitude controlled loading, phase is critical. Note 2: Frequency changes during cycles do not fall within the scope of this part. Subsequent chapters only deal with constant frequency cycles.
