This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring of industrial pollutant discharge units of recycled non-ferrous metals (recycled copper, recycled aluminum, recycled lead, recycled zinc), the basic content and requirements for the development of monitoring plans, information recording and reporting. This standard is applicable to pollutant discharge units that produce non-ferrous metals and their alloys from scrap non-ferrous metals as raw materials, and carry out self-monitoring of the water and gas pollutants, noise and the impact on the quality of the surrounding environment during the production and operation stage. Sewage discharge units that use non-ferrous metal secondary resources such as copper-containing sludge, zinc-containing steelmaking smoke, lead-containing leaching slag as main raw materials to produce non-ferrous metals and their alloys may refer to this standard. The self-monitoring requirements for self-prepared thermal power generating units (factories) and supporting power boilers shall be implemented in accordance with HJ820.
