Scope

This International Standard specifies a barium sulfate gravimetric method for the determination of the Sulfur content of iron ores. This method is applicable to a concentration range of 0,Ol to 1,0 % (mlm) of Sulfur in natura1 iron ores, and iron ore concentrates and agglomerates including Sinter products.
