- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of gasoline engine turbochargers (radial flow and mixed flow) for passenger cars (hereinafter referred to as superchargers) and quality commitment. This standard applies to passenger car gasoline engine turbochargers with a compressor impeller diameter ≤ 60 mm. It does not apply to axial flow turbochargers and variable cross-section turbochargers.
