Scope

The sample is decomposed by alkali melting and leached with hydrochloric acid. In the solution with pH=8~10, iron (III) and sulfosalicylic acid form a stable yellow complex with maximum absorption at the wavelength of 425nm, and the absorbance value is the same as III. The content of iron oxide is directly proportional to the content of iron oxide, and the content of iron oxide is measured photometrically.
