This standard specifies a gas chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry method for the determination of toxaphene in soils and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of three indicator toxaphene congeners P26, P50 and P62 (see Appendix A) in soil and sediments. When the sampling volume is 10.0g and the fixed volume is 20μl, the detection limits of the three indicative toxaphene methods are all 0.003μg/kg, and the lower determination limits are 0.012μg/kg.
