Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging labeling and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of borax determination test strips in food. This standard is suitable for the rapid qualitative detection of borax in meat products (such as meatballs), pasta, jelly, cold skin and other foods using turmeric colorimetric test paper (hereinafter referred to as "test paper").
