This document specifies the general requirements for ultrasonic testing of austenitic and austenitic-ferritic steel plates, comparative samples, instruments and equipment, testing methods, defect determination and assessment, quality grades, testing reports, etc. This document is applicable to ultrasonic testing of austenitic and austenitic-ferritic steel plates with a thickness of not less than 6mm. Steel plates made of other materials can be implemented as a reference.
