Scope

This document stipulates the general requirements for the method principles, instruments and equipment, test environment, samples, analysis steps, data processing, test reports and safety protection for the analysis of chemical elements in non-ferrous metal materials using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. This document is applicable to the qualitative, semi-quantitative and quantitative analysis of metals and some non-metallic elements in samples using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy with solid sampling.
