Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, technical requirements, test conditions, test equipment, test items and methods for eddy current metal flaw detectors for motor vehicle testing. This document applies to the inspection of eddy current metal flaw detectors (also known as non-disintegrating metal flaw detectors, hereinafter referred to as metal flaw detectors) used for motor vehicle testing.
