- This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage and quality commitment of solenoid valves for industrial process control systems (hereinafter referred to as solenoid valves). This document is applicable to solenoid valves that use clean liquids, gases, and steam as working media to realize opening and closing control functions in pipelines. This document does not apply to electromagnetic directional valves powered by hydraulic or pneumatic controls.
