Scope

This document specifies the principles, reagents, sample preparation, analysis steps, calculation of analysis results, precision and test reports for the determination of sulfate and sulfite content using the barium sulfate gravimetric method. This document is applicable to the determination of sulfate and sulfite content in sintering flue gas desulfurization ash. Determination range (mass fraction) sulfate 5.0% ~ 25.0%, sulfite 10.0% ~ 35.0%.
