Two commonly used methods for testing the magnetic properties of permanent magnet products are measuring the surface magnetic field of the permanent magnet and measuring the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet. The measurement of the surface magnetic field has poor repeatability. There are also customized coil measurement methods and Helmholtz coil measurement methods for magnetic flux measurement. Among them, the Helmholtz measurement method is the most widely used. Magnetic flux only provides reliable comparative data. After calibrating the Helmholtz coil constant, the magnetic moment of the permanent magnet can be calculated, and then the magnetization intensity of the permanent magnet material can be obtained, and the remanence, coercivity and coercivity of the permanent magnet material can be estimated. Basic magnetic parameters such as the maximum magnetic energy product, that is, magnetic moment, can reflect the intrinsic magnetic properties of permanent magnetic materials.
