This standard specifies the terms and definitions, grades and expression methods, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and labeling of high-strength and high-elongation aluminum-clad steel wires for electrical purposes (hereinafter referred to as aluminum-clad steel wires). This standard applies to high-strength aluminum-clad steel wire, high-elongation aluminum-clad steel wire and high-strength high-elongation aluminum-clad steel wire for overhead ground conductors.
