Scope

This document specifies the safety technical requirements for energy storage batteries, energy storage converters, and fire protection facilities of electrochemical energy storage systems. This document applies to the engineering construction and production operation of electrochemical energy storage systems using lithium-ion batteries, lead-acid (carbon) batteries, and flow batteries.
