Scope: The "Engineering Technical Standards for Belt Conveyors" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB50431-2020, which will come into force on March 1, 2021. Among them, Articles 7.2.2, 8.1.3, 8.2.4, 8.3.3, 8.5.3, 8.7.1, 9.1.1, 9.5.1, 11.2.4, 11.6.1 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implement. The original "Code for Engineering Design of Belt Conveyors" (GB50431-2008) shall be abolished at the same time.
