- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality commitment of axial fans for instruments and equipment. This standard applies to axial flow fans (hereinafter referred to as fans) for instruments and equipment powered by AC power and with blade diameters not greater than 300 mm. This standard does not apply to situations where the air contains corrosive gas mixtures or explosive gases.
