- This standard specifies the general requirements for test sample preparation, test equipment, test conditions, test procedures, test results and test reports for simulated pipeline water corrosion tests in natural seawater with controlled flow rate and temperature. This standard is applicable to pipeline hydrodynamic corrosion tests of tubular materials and components in natural seawater with a flow rate of less than 10 meters/second, and for plate materials and tubular materials and components in natural seawater with a flow rate of less than 10 meters/second. Perform electrochemical tests.
