This standard establishes methods for determining hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan sulfur in natural gas:
——photocolorimetric - with mass concentrations of hydrogen sulfide in the range from 1.0•10-3 to 5.0•10-2 g/m3 and mercaptan sulfur in the range from 1, 0•10-3 to 2.5•10-1 g/m3;
——potentiometric – at mass concentrations of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan sulfur in the range from 1.0•10-3 to 5.0•10-1 g/m3;
——iodometric – with mass concentrations of hydrogen sulfide in the range from 1.0•10-2 to 150.0 g/m3 and mercaptan sulfur in the range from 1.0•10-2 to 1.0 g/m3
