This standard provides two accounting methods for farmland soil carbon sequestration, namely the actual measurement method and the estimation method. The former is calculated based on the measured soil organic matter content and is used with priority. The latter is calculated based on published parameter data of different soil carbon sequestration technologies and is suitable for situations where soil organic matter content data are unavailable.
