- This standard specifies a gas chromatographic method for the determination of polychlorinated biphenyl mixtures in soils and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of a total of five PCB industrial products, PCB1221, PCB1242, PCB1248, PCB1254 and PCB1260, in soil and sediment. Other PCB industrial products can also be measured by this method if they pass the verification. When the sampling volume is 5g and the constant volume is 1.0ml, the detection limit of this method for determination of five kinds of PCB industrial products is 5μg/kg, and the lower limit of determination is 20μg/kg.
