Scope

This Section of BS 1902 : Part 9 describes a method for analysing silica refractories using X-ray fluorescence. The method is intended for materials containing more than 92 % of silica (SiO2) on the ignited basis. The ranges of content of constituents are given in table 1. NOTE.
