This document specifies a test method for the determination of mercury content in light oils using microwave digestion-atomic fluorescence spectrometry. This document is applicable to the determination of mercury in naphtha, automotive gasoline, automotive diesel, E10 automotive ethanol gasoline, jet fuel and various coal-based light oils. When the sample size is 0.2g, the detection limit of mercury is 0.01mg/kg.
