- Scope
- This procedure is applicable to the Leeb hardness method for testing and estimating the tensile strength of steel structures (H-beams, I-beams, steel plates, steel pipes) and steel bars in reinforced concrete used in steel structures in industrial and civil buildings. Section steels include Q235, Q345, and Q390. , Q420 steel, steel bars include HPB235, HPB300, HRB335, HRB400, HRB500, and the tensile strength range is between 370~680MPa. This procedure is not applicable to the inspection of construction steel that has obvious differences between the surface and internal quality of the steel or that has internal defects.
