- Scope
- This standard specifies the methods for energy efficiency testing (including type testing, acceptance testing, and arbitration testing) of steam boilers, hot water boilers, and organic heat carrier boilers with working pressures less than 3.8 MPa. This standard applies to steam boilers that burn solid fuel, liquid fuel or gaseous fuel manually or mechanically and steam boilers that use electric heating as heat energy. Boilers that use garbage as fuel can be used as a reference. This standard is also applicable to boiler energy efficiency testing for other purposes (working condition adjustment, fuel changes, boiler system energy-saving transformation, working load of industrial boilers in use, etc.). This standard does not apply to waste heat boilers.
