- This standard specifies the general requirements for crystal kettle eddy current testing personnel and equipment, testing implementation procedures, defect rating and testing results processing methods, and content requirements for the testing record report formed. This standard is applicable to the automatic mechanical rotation scanning eddy current inspection of base metal on the inner wall surface of crystal kettles with a nominal inner diameter of not less than 250mm and no welded joints in the straight section of the cylinder using a placed, bidirectional probe.
