What is ISO 16482-1 - NVM paint binder resin test about?    A Binder is the main ingredient of paints. Binders are polymers forming a continuous film on the substrate surface. They provide good adhesion of the coating to the substrate.    ISO 16482-1 specifies a method for determining the non-volatile content, by mass, of aqueous rosin-resin dispersions, using an oven.
