This document is applicable to phased array ultrasonic automatic inspection and quality assessment of submerged arc welded steel pipe welds for land pipelines and submarine pipelines. Phased array ultrasonic automatic inspection of submerged arc welded steel pipe welds for other pipelines can also be performed with reference to this document.
