Scope
This standard specifies the activated carbon adsorption/thermal pyrolysis atomic absorption spectrophotometric method for the determination of gaseous mercury in waste gas from fixed pollution sources. This standard is applicable to the determination of gaseous mercury in flue gas from coal-fired power plants equipped with denitrification, dust removal, and desulfurization. When the sampling volume is 10L (dry flue gas under standard conditions), the detection limit is 0.1μg/m3 and the lower determination limit is 0.4μg/m3.
