This document stipulates the terms and definitions, classification, codes and model specifications, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitments of automobile engine silicone fan clutches. This document is applicable to silicone oil fan clutches (hereinafter referred to as clutches) that use thermal bimetal temperature sensing elements to automatically control the speed of cooling fans in automobile engine cooling systems. Engine clutches used in non-road mobile machinery such as engineering machinery and agricultural machinery can be used as a reference.
