- Scope
- This standard specifies two methods (methods A and B) for determining the dynamic mechanical properties of plastics using a torsion device. The dynamic mechanical properties of plastics refer to the properties of the energy storage part and loss part of the torsional modulus that change with temperature under small strains in the frequency range of 0.1Hz to 10Hz. This standard is applicable to the determination of dynamic mechanical properties of plastics and is not applicable to asymmetric composite plastic plates and rubber.
