Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of valve-regulated lead-acid batteries for power energy storage. This standard applies to valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) for energy storage with rated voltages of 2 V, 6 V and 12 V.
