This document specifies the terms and definitions, structure, environmental conditions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of physically foamed polyethylene insulated coaxial cables for communications (hereinafter referred to as coaxial cables). This document applies to physical foamed polyethylene insulated coaxial cables for closed-circuit television systems below 1 GHz, shared antenna television systems, cable television systems as branch lines and subscriber lines, and other electronic devices.
