- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, precision and test reports for the determination of PCB content in coatings using gas chromatography and GC-MS. This standard is applicable to the determination of PCB content in paints and coating films, including but not limited to the PCBs listed in Table A.1 in Appendix A. The determination of PCB content in raw materials for coatings can refer to this standard.
