- Scope
- This standard specifies the composition, technical requirements, performance indicators and detection methods of portable monitors for total hydrocarbons, methane and non-methane total hydrocarbons. This standard applies to the design, production and testing of portable monitors for ambient air and stationary pollution source exhaust gas total hydrocarbons, methane and non-methane total hydrocarbons (hereinafter referred to as "instruments"). For instruments used in different occasions, the detection range of the corresponding instruments is specified. Instruments used for emergency monitoring of ambient air and ambient air pollution accidents are called Type I instruments in this standard, and instruments used for monitoring waste gas from fixed pollution sources are called Type II instruments in this standard.
