Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of disposable ophthalmic sterile syringes (hereinafter referred to as ophthalmic syringes). This standard applies to manual syringes used for aspiration of ophthalmic liquids or for injection immediately after injecting ophthalmic liquids.
