Scope

This ETS states the minimum requirements for a maritime radiotelephone watch receiver@ including power supply units or converters@ intended for keeping watch on the international distress and calling frequency 2 182 kHz. This ETS includes the relevant provisions of the radio Regulations (1) and of the International Maritime Organization (2).
