- This document stipulates the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitments of reverse osmosis water purifiers for household and similar purposes. This document applies to drinking water treatment devices (hereinafter referred to as "water purifiers") that use municipal tap water or other centralized water supplies as raw water and reverse osmosis membranes as the main purification components for use in households or similar places.
