Scope

This document specifies a method for the determination of scandium content in iron ores by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. This document is applicable to the determination of scandium content with a mass fraction of 0.0004% to 0.01% in natural iron ore, iron concentrate, sinter and pellets.
